Conditions of Entry

North Sydney Olympic Pool is designed to provide a safe and enjoyable experience for all members of the community. To ensure a positive customer experience for all, the following terms and conditions must be adhered to by all Centre users:

• Council has a zero tolerance to anti-social behaviour. Any behaviour that is in the opinion of Council staff, unruly, offensive, disruptive, or dangerous will not be tolerated and customers behaving as such, will be asked to leave the Centre. Management, at its own discretion, has the right to refuse entry.
• A child under, and including the age of 14 years, must be accompanied by a guardian 16 years or older.
• Standard nappies are not permitted in any pools. All non-toilet trained children must always wear an approved aqua nappy whilst in the pool areas.
• Glass bottles and glass containers are not permitted inside the Centre.
• North Sydney Olympic Pool is a partner of the NSW Royal Life Saving’s Keep Watch at Public Pools program. Customers are required to adhere to the terms and conditions of the Keep Watch Program which are clearly signposted throughout the Centre.
• No cameras, photography or filming are permitted in the change rooms under any circumstance. Council reserves the right to inspect any images and video material if we suspect inappropriate photography. Any unlawful images or videos will result in legal action and police will be contacted.
• In the interest of security and the safety of staff and patrons, CCTV cameras are installed throughout the facility except for toilets and change rooms.
• Due to occupational health and safety guidelines, entry to a Group Fitness Class will not be permitted if you arrive more than 5 minutes late.
• Patrons are responsible for their own safety and well-being while using the facilities. It is advised to adhere to all signage, rules, guidelines, and safety protocols.
• It is always important to talk with your doctor before starting a new exercise routine. If you feel unwell, please seek medical advice before undertaking any exercise.
• All patrons enter North Sydney Olympic Pool at their own risk. The facility, management and staff are not liable for any injuries, accidents, or incidents that may occur on the premises.
• Council accepts no responsibility for any loss, damage or theft of personal property or belongings.
• Any damage to the facility or equipment caused by negligence or misconduct will be the responsibility of the individual or group responsible.
• Suitable swimwear or exercise clothing must be worn at all times including closed athletic shoes in the gym.
• Animals are not permitted inside the Centre except for registered service animals.
• No bikes, skateboards, scooters, inflatables etc. are permitted inside the Centre.
• No smoking or vaping is permitted on the premises.
• No alcohol, drugs or persons suspected to be under the influence of drugs and alcohol are permitted on the premises.
• All pools will be evacuated and closed in the case of an emergency, or any other situation where it is deemed a risk to public health and safety to keep the pool open. When it is safe to do so, management will re-open the pools.

Centre rules must be observed and followed at all times. Management reserves the right to refuse entry or remove any patrons that do not comply with the Centre Conditions of Entry.
